Energy Efficiency Certificate - a legal requirement
On April the 5th 2013, the Spanish Government passed an act in which the basic procedure for the Energy Efficiency Certificate for buildings was approved.
This Act states that all the properties sold or rented and advertised for those purposes, must have the Energy Performance Certificate as of 1st of June 2013.
The Balearic Government is now going to enforce this act, by imposing economical penalties for each property advertised either for rent or sale that does not exhibit and posses this Energy Rating.
Due to this we are now obliged to always request the Energy Efficiency Certificate for your property, as without it we would still be able to manage the sale of your property, but we would not be able to advertise it.
