Beschreibung

This popular restaurant and leisure business has been run by the same people for the last 38 years. Situated in a busy spot in the dynamic and lively urbanisation of Calan Porter with its large range of bars, restaurants, hotels and both tourist and residential areas, this property has many large and different areas. The interior measures approximately 150 square metres with a long wooden bar decorated in a Caribbean style. There is a kitchen, storage area and pantry.

Outside is a large terrace that can accommodate up to 150 people and there is a stage currently used for karaoke and live music. There is a private car park for customers next to the terrace. This property also includes living accommodation on the first floor. There is a kitchen, large living/dining room, two double bedrooms and the master bedroom has a dressing room, bathroom and two terraces; one of which houses the laundry room.

Calan Porter

This white sand cove defined by soaring cliffs, is one of the most famous in Menorca. The cove is the mouth of the torrent of Cala en Porter, which upstream feeds the orchards of vegetables and fruit trees where the locals of the island, grow the local produce. Around the beach is a village that has life all year, with restaurants, banks, shops, a medical center open from May to October and a social centre. It is also a nice place to have a second home.

Alaior is one of the liveliest districts of Menorca. It was the first to build an industrial estate, is the host to a permanent centre of the University of the Balearic Islands as well as a centre for technology based companies. San Diego and Santa Eulalia are two churches that give it its own architectural personality and around which its town centres are concentrated. Very well connected, the district of Alaior has among its attractions the Camino d’en Kane, a route that crosses the rural inland landscape of the eastern half of the island that goes from Mahón to Mercadal.

There are three other towns, Sant Climent, Llucmaçanes and Fornells, the first two in the district of Maó and the other in Es Mercadal. Maó, located in the east, and Ciutadella, in the west, are the two most inhabited towns on the island.

Socio-economically, unlike the other islands of the Balearic archipelago, Menorca has, over time, had the good fortune to be able maintain a perfect balance between the  traditional industries of footwear, costume jewellery and agriculture favouring the gentle development of the tourist sector and thus enabling the island to preserve its countryside and beaches. This environmental sensitivity still exists among all its inhabitants,  guaranteeing a unique setting, perfect for family, sports and cultural tourism.
