An ideal hiking route to enjoy the coastal scenery of the island.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-10190 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Cala-Escorxada-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"3844\" height=\"2883\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The route that links Santo Tom\u00e1s to Cala Escorxada is a beautiful excursion with incredible views, where you can enjoy both the countryside and also the sea. Along the way you will walk through the forest area and cliffs, from where you can contemplate the crystal clear turquoise sea waters.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-10189 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Cala-Escorxada-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"3836\" height=\"2877\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-10193 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Cala-Escorxada-7.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"4032\" height=\"3024\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This path is represented in the section of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/?s=cami+de+cavalls\">Cam\u00ed de Cavalls<\/a> phase n\u00ba14, which goes from Cala Galdana to Santo Thomas.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>The tour to Cala Escorxada and back is approximately 8km, but it is well worth the effort! At a medium pace, it takes about an hour and there is an unevenness of 124m. The level of difficulty of the route could be considered moderate, due to the slopes of the cliffs.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-10191 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Cala-Escorxada-5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"3791\" height=\"2843\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-10192 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Cala-Escorxada-6.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"3967\" height=\"2975\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Cala Escorxada is the second bay that we find after the beach of Binigaus, and the one before Cala Fustam. Its fine white sand, along with the bushes that surround the beach, makes its traditional turquoise waters be even more outstanding.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-10194 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Cala-Escorxada.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"3989\" height=\"2992\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, this bay is within the Natural Area of \u200b\u200bSpecial Interest Me-13 (ANEI-Me-13) that covers the coastline from Binigaus to Cala Mitjana.<\/p>\n<p>We do recommend that you equip yourself with water and wear suitable hiking footwear, as there are sloping rocky sections.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><b>How to get there?<\/b><\/h4>\n<p>It is very easy, you must go to the village of Es Migjorn Gran and then take the road to Santo Tom\u00e1s. Once there, you can park in the first parking area that you will find by the first roundabout.<\/p>\n<p>Then walk heading towards the beach of Binigaus and almost at the end, you will see on the right a wall and a small stone house, where the path is marked with an arrow that says \u201cCala Escorxada \u201d.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>When you are already on the lane, you just have to follow the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls indications that you will find.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-10196 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Senalizacion-Cala-Escorxada.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1348\" height=\"984\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10195\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/IMG_4248-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"4032\" height=\"3024\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy the landscape and the incredible views of the sea!
