{"id":10293,"date":"2022-04-21T09:22:46","date_gmt":"2022-04-21T07:22:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/?p=10293"},"modified":"2022-04-25T09:27:00","modified_gmt":"2022-04-25T07:27:00","slug":"family-outing-in-cami-reial","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/family-outing-in-cami-reial\/","title":{"rendered":"Family outing in Cam\u00ed Reial"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The<strong> Cam\u00ed Reial<\/strong> was one of the old connection routes between Ma\u00f3 and Ciutadella, that crossed all the villages situated in the centre of the island, it is believed that it could have its origins in the Roman age.<\/p>\n<p>The section of the Cami Reial in Ferreries was recovered during the 1990s thanks to volunteers who dedicated time and effort to clean it and make it safe, as a result of the collaboration of the town\u2019s entities, the Cami Reial has been preserved and its history can be enjoyed.<\/p>\n<p>The length of Cami Reial is <strong>3.5km of pure nature<\/strong>, 80% of which runs under the forest, rich in vegetation.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>During the tour you can enjoy the wide variety of plants, trees and animals in their natural habitat.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10286\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Cami-Reial-Ferreries-11_RV.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2500\" height=\"1877\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><b>How to get there?<\/b><\/h4>\n<p>You can begin the route at the cemetery in Ferreries, where you can easily park your car.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Then head towards Cala Galdana, and just as you leave the roundabout on the right, you can cross the road towards the lane.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10279\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Cami-Reial-Ferreries_RV.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2500\" height=\"1877\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10280\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Cami-Reial-Ferreries-2_RV.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2500\" height=\"1877\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To arrive at the beginning of the Cam\u00ed Reial, we must continue along this path, climb the steep slope of the Sant Gormeset\u2019s path and when we reach the top, on the right hand side we will see an entrance with a small sign, indicating the start of the Cam\u00ed Reial.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10282\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Cami-Reial-Ferreries-4_RV.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2500\" height=\"1877\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10283\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Cami-Reial-Ferreries-7_RV.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2500\" height=\"1877\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10284\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Cami-Reial-Ferreries-8_RV.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2500\" height=\"1877\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>During the route you will discover the wide variety of vegetation and points of interest such as Es Pou of Sa Perdiu Blanca or Sa Cova Real.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>A cave not too big, accessible to its interior and that was formerly used as a shelter in case of bad weather.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10285\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Cami-Reial-Ferreries-10_RV.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2500\" height=\"1877\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Once you have climbed the well-known Cuesta de na Salema, you will arrive on the paved road to Algendar, this is the point where the route of Cam\u00ed Reial ends.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Should you wish to prolong the excursion, you may continue, heading down to the Barranco de Algendar.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Another lovely excursion that we will soon give you all the details of.<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy the walk and the landscape!
