Its reddish rocks and golden sand situates it at the top of the best beaches of the north coast of Menorca.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The beach of Cavalleria is an unspoilt beach of roughly 500 metres, located in a protected natural environment of the north of Menorca. To its right is Cala Rotja, a bay with less sand than Cavalleria, but just as stunning.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10411\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/Cavalleria-Menorca-Discoverymenorca1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"3984\" height=\"2988\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It is also one of the best places to watch the sunset. The northern Tramuntana wind causes strong waves that reach the coast. For this reason, we recommend you check the wind forecast to choose the best day to go.<\/p>\n<h4><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-10412 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/Cavalleria-Menorca-Discoverymenorca3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"3841\" height=\"2881\" \/><\/h4>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4>How to go<\/h4>\n<p>To reach the beach of Cavalleria you must head towards Mercadal on Menorca\u2019s main road, and then take the turn towards the northern beaches. From there just follow the signs to the beach and Cavalleria\u2019s lighthouse. A few kilometres ahead, there is a large signposted car park, where you can leave your car or motorbike, free of charge. From there it is only a 400-metre walk to the beach.<\/p>\n<h4><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-10414 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/Cavalleria-Menorca-Discoverymenorca8.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"3939\" height=\"2954\" \/><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To round off the day, when you return from the beach, you can continue by car and visit Cavalleria\u2019s lighthouse, enjoy the panoramic views and have a drink at the bar you will find at the lighthouse.
