The final decision will be taken in June 2017 but 2016 is going to be the key so that the 25 prehistoric sites selected can pass the test.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1060\" height=\"596\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/cI3HgNX6X0k?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Expectations are very high because, just as once stated by the Council of Historic Heritage, the Talayotic culture of Menorca is a unique example in Mediterranean prehistory of an ancient civilization, present on the island and its landscape for 4,000 years, with a density and state of conservation of its monuments that can be considered exceptional.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/GalImg547.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-bd-normal wp-image-1024\" src=\"\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/GalImg547-660x330.jpg\" alt=\"Caparrot des Forma\" width=\"660\" height=\"330\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We have already explained in <strong><a href=\"\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/en\/talayotic-culture\/\" target=\"_blank\">this blog<\/a> <\/strong>that our island has almost two monuments per square kilometre.
