This is good news for inexperienced walkers since there are hardly any hills, and the countryside is fairly uniform. You will find plants adapted to salty environments such as limonium or marine fennel.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>route begins<\/strong> at the western end of the <strong>urbanisation of Santo Tom\u00e1s<\/strong>, passing between the village and the beach. At the end of the urbanisation, you cross a coastal wood and continue along the coast to the <strong>beach of Atalis<\/strong> or Talis. At this point you can see the dune system of Son Bou beach, where you can also spot some birds.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6761\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_3823.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"3264\" height=\"2448\" \/><\/p>\n<p>From here, the <strong>path heads inland<\/strong>, following the Torrent de Sa Vall and skirting the <strong>Prat de Son Bou<\/strong> lagoon where the vegetation is lush, typical of a wet area. Before reaching the urbanization of Son Bou, you will find the source of Torre-Sol\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>last stage is an asphalt path<\/strong>, crossing the <strong>urbanization of Son Bou<\/strong>. If you want to walk a little further, we recommend that at the end, you head towards the beach and visit the <strong>Paleochristian Basilica of Son Bou<\/strong>. It is one of the oldest religious buildings in Menorca, dating from the beginning of the 5th century. It has a rectangular floor plan and three naves separated by pillars and a portico.
