In the same way, <strong>Pimms Chetwynd Talbot<\/strong>, <strong>commercial manager of Bonnin Sanso<\/strong> and her partner<strong> Iago<\/strong>, are capable of <strong>converting a old property into a fantastic home<\/strong>. They say that to radically improve the appearance of any house, you only need the four elements of <strong>good light, the colour white, plants and the blue of the sea<\/strong>. Last year they tackled two projects in Punta Prima, in Sant Lluis, where the before and after effects, are simply spectacular. Today we are going to view one of them.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6771\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/Antes-y-despu\u00e9s-Bonnin.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1508\" height=\"580\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The challenge was to transform a<strong> house of 150 meters built in 1970<\/strong> and divided into two floors but very well located facing the sea. Initially, the <strong>colour white<\/strong> was used to flood doors and rooms to gain light. \u00abWe also knew that the <strong>kitchen had to be moved to the ground floor<\/strong> and not be on the first floor, where the best views should belong to the master bedroom,\u00bb explains Pimms Chetwynd. \u00ab<strong>Outside<\/strong>, the aim was to <strong>create three spaces<\/strong> and so we commissioned a<strong> pool<\/strong>, we added a<strong> lawn<\/strong> and we used <strong>mar\u00e9s stone<\/strong> to replace the existing paving that surrounded the house,\u00bb she adds. \u00abWe also thought that we should change the windows to glass doors to flood the house with light,\u00bb she says.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6775\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/AntesydespuesBonnininteior-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1551\" height=\"543\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To give<strong> more comfort and quality<\/strong>, <strong>plaster moldings were added to the walls<\/strong>, <strong>corridors were removed<\/strong> to give more space and the rooms were styled with <strong>antique furniture<\/strong> that <strong>Pimms had restored<\/strong>. The <strong>plants<\/strong>, one of her great hobbies, <strong>added the touch of colour that the house needed to make it more warm<\/strong>, as well as a bamboo ceiling on the terrace painted white that gave it a chic touch.
