A pilgrim\u2019s destination for gourmets of lobster and fish stew, after the summer hubbub and the coming and going along its narrow streets full of tourists admiring so much beauty, the authentic Fornells re-emerges, that of the oasis of peace and quiet, disturbed only by the days of the <em><strong>tramuntana <\/strong><\/em>wind.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1060\" height=\"596\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/GU_ZdjNsi3Q?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>There is a lot to do in Fornells. Most of the restaurants stay open and you can enjoy a lovely rice or seafood stew and fresh fish without haste. The active tourist and adventure sports companies offer interesting activities such as paddle surf, kayak or sailing to do calmly in the seductive bay, which still has good enough weather to take a dip. It is in autumn when the most experienced windsurfers and sailors enjoy ideal weather conditions.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/P1020504.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-bd-normal wp-image-663\" src=\"\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/P1020504-660x330.jpg\" alt=\"Fornells Menorca\" width=\"660\" height=\"330\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/P1020504-660x330.jpg 660w, https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/P1020504-1052x526.jpg 1052w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 660px) 100vw, 660px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Other recommended activities in Fornells in the autumn are excursions on <strong>foot<\/strong>, <strong>horse-riding <\/strong>or by<strong> bicycle<\/strong>. In fact, the <strong>Cam\u00ed de Cavalls <\/strong>path passes very nearby on its fourth stage (Arenald\u2019en Castell to CalaTirant). It is an easy stage to do that will lead us through Prat de Son Saura, where, if lucky, we will be able to see several species of birds. At its other end is Arenal de Son Saura, a spectacular sand dune region and a humid area with exuberant vegetation all year round. For some years now, it has recovered the Saltworks of La Concepci\u00f3n, built in the 19<sup>th<\/sup> century during English rule.
