{"id":7029,"date":"2018-03-07T08:42:18","date_gmt":"2018-03-07T07:42:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/?p=7029"},"modified":"2018-03-07T20:45:40","modified_gmt":"2018-03-07T19:45:40","slug":"cami-cavalls-from-cala-porter-to-binissafuller","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/cami-cavalls-from-cala-porter-to-binissafuller\/","title":{"rendered":"Cam\u00ed de Cavalls: from Cala en Porter to Binissaf\u00faller"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today <strong>we conclude our circular route around Menorca along the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls<\/strong>, which we have been describing section by section in our blog.<\/p>\n<p>If we finish the seven kilometers that we will detail in this post, we will have <strong>completed the entire circuit<\/strong> of the island benefitting from the landscape, the beauty and above all, in good health. Two hundred kilometers of walking are finished today with a gentle route, crossing the urbanisations of the southeast of the island and in many cases, walking on the paved roads.<\/p>\n<p>The route starts in Binisaf\u00faller, in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/the-most-romantic-beaches-of-menorca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Cal\u00f3 Blanc<\/strong><\/a>, one of the most beautiful coves of Menorca. We will continue along the road until we reach the <strong>beach of Binisaf\u00faller<\/strong>, with its white sand protected from the sea to the east and to the west. We will then follow the edge of the beach along a path until we return to a road in Binissaf\u00faller, the Passeig de la Mar. Along the way, we will pass the <strong>Binisaf\u00faller Yacht Club<\/strong>, which has one of the most successful restaurants on the south coast thanks to its tapas and its unparalleled views. It will be worth making a stop.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7010\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/Platja-Binibeca.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1417\" height=\"1063\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Soon we will arrive at <strong>Binib\u00e8quer Vell<\/strong>, the famous urbanisation modelled on a traditional fishing village with narrow streets, painted an immaculate white. In <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/living-all-year-round-in-binibeca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>our Discovery Menorca blog we already dedicate an article to describe life throughout the year<\/strong><\/a> in this idyllic Menorcan enclave. Once we have left the area, the path continues between the houses of <strong>Binib\u00e8quer Nou<\/strong> to pass very close to Cala Binib\u00e8quer, another picture perfect beach that is worth visiting. It hosts one of the most prized beach bars during the summer and if you find it open, it is well worth stopping for a break for an ice cream or a beer.<\/p>\n<p>The road continues through the urbanisation of Cala Torret towards<strong> Cala Biniancolla<\/strong>. Here, you can see the Illa del Aire with its emblematic lighthouse. Biniancolla is a small summer resort with some fishermen&#8217;s houses that make this cove a dream place. It is worth going along one of the streets to see the landscape.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7011\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/biniancolla.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1984\" height=\"1488\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The last stage passes through the urbanisation of <strong>Son Ganxo,<\/strong> near one of the few Menorcan <strong>defense towers<\/strong> converted to offer accommodation. It is an building that belongs to the Insular Council of Menorca and its youth department (INJOVE) offers the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.injovemenorca.es\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>possibility of renting for a few days<\/strong><\/a>. The road arrives at the beach of <strong>Punta Prima<\/strong> with picturesque views of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/lilla-del-aire-new-marine-reserve\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Illa del Aire<\/strong> <\/a>and where you will find all the necessary services.<\/p>\n<p><strong>This completes our descriptions of the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Distance<\/strong>: 7.3 km<\/p>\n<p><strong>Estimated time with stops at interesting points<\/strong>: 2 and a half hours<\/p>\n<p><strong>Difficulty<\/strong>: Easy<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today we conclude our circular route around Menorca along the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls, which we have been describing section by section in our blog.
