{"id":7323,"date":"2018-08-27T10:59:22","date_gmt":"2018-08-27T08:59:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/?p=7323"},"modified":"2018-09-01T10:30:11","modified_gmt":"2018-09-01T08:30:11","slug":"beaches-off-the-beaten-track","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/beaches-off-the-beaten-track\/","title":{"rendered":"Beaches off the beaten track"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Menorca is much<strong> more than Macarella, Macarelleta and Turqueta<\/strong>.\u00a0We are obsessed with wanting to visit the more well-known beaches of the island but t<strong>here are other beaches we should visit which are not so busy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>That is why we have chosen from Discovery Menorca, three charming off the beaten track beaches with easy access.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1060\" height=\"596\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/rtwrVtlGZ-E?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; encrypted-media\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cales Morts beach<\/strong> \u2013 ideal for snorkelling.<\/p>\n<p>This beach is less than 900 metres from the Binimel.la car park but it is overlooked as most people go past it to the more known beach of Cala Pregonda.\u00a0 Reddish in colour, Cales Morts is a pebble beach with the remains of sea grass and some sandy areas.\u00a0 The seabed is quite rocky and therefore a perfect place to observe aquatic life.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_7339\" style=\"width: 1191px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-7339\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-7339 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Cales-Morts-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1181\" height=\"787\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-7339\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Cales Morts beach<\/p><\/div>\n<p><strong>The three coves of Cala d\u2019en Saler.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It is not just a beach but made up of three coves and only 500 metres from the carpark of the Ecomuseo de Cavalleria.\u00a0 The largest of the three coves is about 10 metres long and about 15 metres wide.\u00a0 Between the three there is plenty of shade provided by bamboo \u2013 the perfect place to rest in the heat of the day.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_7341\" style=\"width: 1191px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-7341\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-7341 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Saler-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1181\" height=\"787\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-7341\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The three coves of Cala d\u2019en Saler<\/p><\/div>\n<p><strong>Binisafuller<\/strong> \u2013 typically Menorcan.<\/p>\n<p>This is a peaceful and safe cove with white sand and, unlike the beaches of Macarella or Mitjana, is more tranquil.\u00a0 This is a typical Menorcan cove with its whitewashed houses, jetty and a small boat for either fishing or swimming from.\u00a0 After leaving Sant Lluis you will find the beach after the first car park you come to.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_7343\" style=\"width: 1191px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-7343\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-7343 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Binisafua-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1181\" height=\"787\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-7343\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Binisafuller<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Menorca is much more than Macarella, Macarelleta and Turqueta.\u00a0We are obsessed with wanting to visit the more well-known beaches of the island but there are other beaches we should visit which are not so busy.
