Its two beautiful beaches, <em>Es Tancats <\/em>and <em>Es Bot <\/em>have fine white sand just as if paradise itself had been placed in Menorca. It is undoubtedly one of the best-conserved and most fascinating sandy areas on the north coast of the island, a natural landscape with its own dune system that extends along the entire valley: meadows of Neptune grass and spectacular wetlands of the stream of <em>La Vall<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1060\" height=\"596\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/fVVpxlIf_gA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The first beach, \u00a0that of Es Tancats, is just a few metres from the car park, so the <em>Es Bot <\/em>beach is in fact the quietest option of the two beaches of La Vall. It is reached along the path on the right, always passing the pine trees to the left, until reaching the stream, really easy to find.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG_4218.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-bd-normal wp-image-798\" src=\"\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG_4218-660x330.jpg\" alt=\"Cam\u00ed de Cavalls\" width=\"660\" height=\"330\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>From the end of the <em>Es Tancats <\/em>beach, we can also go south, where we coincide with the <em><a href=\"\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/en\/cami-de-cavalls-enjoy-beautiful-walks-around-the-minorcan-countryside\/\">Cam\u00ed de Cavalls<\/a><\/em> coastal bridle path, which we have spoken about on more than one occasion in our blog. Having reached it, following the path south, we can approach Els Alocs, another spectacular area that comes out into an unequalled treasure trove: the Sa Bassa Verda lake. The path goes between farmland until reaching a fork of two forest tracks, and ours is one on the left to reach our destination. The track gradually narrows and becomes rockier and steeper. From above we\u2019ll be able to take in the stunning views of the two beaches.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/9.-Sa-Bassa-Verde1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-bd-normal wp-image-796\" src=\"\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/9.-Sa-Bassa-Verde1-660x330.jpg\" alt=\"Sa Bassa Verda\" width=\"660\" height=\"330\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/9.-Sa-Bassa-Verde1-660x330.jpg 660w, https:\/\/www.bonninsanso.com\/discoverymenorca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/9.-Sa-Bassa-Verde1-1052x526.jpg 1052w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 660px) 100vw, 660px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>On reaching the top, concealed behind the rocks and trees is Sa Bassa Verda, which only contains water during the winter months. It is a spectacular lake surrounded by calm, a mirror of wild vegetation with magically positioned rocks.
