A Coffee with Kerry: Let’s Talk About Money

On 4 March, “A Coffee with Kerry” was launched, a weekly series in which, every Wednesday, Kerry Phillips, the group’s Finance Director, makes financial education accessible to anyone who wants to listen.

The series has now reached 30 episodes.

Kerry joined Bonnin Sansó after years of experience in banking. Her professional background, combined with her passion for finance, was the starting point. But there was also a more personal motivation: her children, aged 17 and 20, were beginning to wonder what to do with their first savings.

Each episode builds on the previous one, covering everything from our beliefs and habits around money to how to create an emergency fund, what to consider when taking out a mortgage, and the differences between investing in property and investing in money market funds.

Many people still find it difficult to talk about money, but they shouldn’t. After all, money is part of our everyday lives, yet managing it is something we are rarely taught.

That is why Kerry continues to open up the conversation week after week, with the same natural ease as sharing a coffee.
