Five special places in Menorca

The recinto de cantera de marés de Lithica, a spot excavated by man and transformed, unconsciously, into a great natural work of art, a magical space to lose oneself in and breathe in the calm of Menorca.

Monte Toro

The peak of Monte Toro, the mountain in Menorca from where you can make out the edges of practically all the island and which houses a small church in which a religious congregation lives throughout the year.

Gin Xoriguer

The destilería Xoriguer where the oldest gin in the Mediterranean is made and which still conserves its traditional distilling method. A visit that guards the aroma of juniper inside.

Teatre Principal de Maó

The Teatro Principal de Mahón, the oldest opera house in Spain built in 1829 has this year received the Medal of Artistic and Cultural Merit awarded by the Ministry of Culture. An authentic “chocolate box” full of art.

Plaça de la Catedral o de Pius XII (Ciutadella)

The Palacios de Ciutadella recall the past but also claim the present of the nobility of Menorca, in a display of elegance and good taste. A pleasant stroll around the same streets that in June host all the passion of the Saint John festivals.
