While writing these words for the Bonnin Sanso blog, contradictory feelings rise up in me. I am really excited about my new stage of retirement, yet have many memories that have accumulated throughout my working life of 25 years in the company. I would like to thank the whole work team, the management, and my colleagues for all this time we have shared. It has been a time in which something of everything has happened: happiness, emotional moments, the occasional disappointment but with a highly positive and satisfactory final tally. I have been able to watch the growth of this company with pride; from its key decision in moving to Carrer Nou at a time in which, I thought, it was difficult but for it to then turn into one of the best decisions; to the modernisation of its database which has become a powerful and efficient instrument with the whole portfolio of properties always up to date.

I leave with an aching heart for everything that I leave behind, proud of having been able to raise a family thanks to the trust that Bonnin Sanso had in my work, happy for the sensation of having made good, lasting friends, of having been able to enjoy great staff events and days out (I have missed very few), and very satisfied with having contributed my little grain of sand so that many people have been able to make their dream of living in Menorca come true.

However, at 65 years of age, I am not going sit around and do nothing. My daughter has told me to be as active as ever. In fact, I have just signed up to play padel (encouraged by my son who wants to teach me) and I will continue to travel, going out for trips to discover the Menorcan countryside and of course, keep up and even increase my dance classes.

I would also like to share with you a tiny luxury that I have only just started to experience: the fact that the alarm clock doesn’t go off in the morning! it’s an incomparable feeling!
